retainer options

retainer clients are an on-going relationship to allow for curation and fine tuning of strategy and messaging over time. a solid messaging strategy takes into account your personality, your values and your creative process to sell your offers in ways that feel like you. what’s missing from most people’s messaging strategy is them, which is not only what converts, it’s also what makes entrepreneurship sustainable. this is some of my favorite work to do and often involves emotional support as entrepreneurship can bring up all kinds of things.

Someone who is a perfect fit for this would be:

  • Someone invested in the values in their work and messaging in a way that feels ethical and creative.

  • Someone who wants to collaborate on material, receiving copy and using it as is, or adjusting it to better suit the voice or the vibe.

  • Someone who understands that messaging is art and not math.

  • Someone who is interested in work that focuses on nuance over “perfection” (I am not a copy editor and I’m much more of a poet than I am invested in grammar).

    This is a creative retainer appropriate for entrepreneurs and thought leaders who are clear about their values and could use hand holding in their messaging strategy and execution.

    Includes: 1 hour-long strategy session each month which can include clarifying offers, marketing and messaging strategy as well as mapping out the month ahead.

    We’ll utilize this time to answer questions like: Is my offer clear? How do I talk about it? How can I make it more interesting? What kind of energy am I bringing? How do I talk to the person I'm hoping to connect with? What does that look like from a content perspective? What works for me? What's working right now?

    Followed by:

    Developmental editing for copy throughout the month in a shared document. Review of up to 12 pieces per month (i.e. content ideas, captions, emails, sales pages).

    (3 month minimum commitment).

  • Strategy + ghostwriting $1000/mo

    This retainer is ideal for the entrepreneur or thought leader who is interested both in creative strategy and in some ghostwriting services.

    Includes: 2 half hour strategy sessions each month to prioritize deliverables for the weeks ahead. Ideally this writing is being created for the following month to allow for ease in creation.

    We’ll utilize this time to answer questions like: Is my offer clear? How do I talk about it? How can I make it more interesting? What kind of energy am I bringing? How do I talk to the person I'm hoping to connect with? What does that look like from a content perspective? What works for me? What's working right now?

    Followed by:

    8 short essays for use across platforms per month.

    (3 month minimum commitment).

  • full scale retainer $2000/mo

    This retainer is appropriate for the entrepreneur or thought leader who looking for overall marketing direction as well as ghostwriting services.

    Includes: Up to 2 hour long sessions each month to review strategy. Deliverables are negotiated after a discovery call and shared understanding of scope of work. A very limited amount of this scale of retainers are considered due to capacity.

    Copy based on agreed upon strategy for cross platform use. Specifics of scope customized per client.

    This level of retainer requires a discovery call to ensure a good fit.

    (3 month minimum commitment).
